Anne-Lies Besemer

Anne-Lies Besemer

In addition to my practical work as a clinical psychologist, I have done part time scientific research into emotional regulation problems of children and youth. In my work, I first listen to the personal story of people to properly place and understand the complaints. I try to see a complaint in a broader context by including one's history and social living situation. My experience has taught me that by asking the right questions, people often give the most important information themselves to find the way to a solution.

Who is Anne-Lies?
I'm the older one in our psychology team and I live with my partner in Amsterdam, where I was born. Our children already moved out and if I'm not at work I'm enjoying my grandchild. People appreciate the knowledge and experience I bring in. I myself attach great importance to trust and involvement.
