Help to Quit Smoking

To quit smoking is more than a matter of will. Above all it is a matter of being able to quit. Our practice provides motivational interviewing and/or medication to help you quit. All health insurances have coverage for the interviews and medication.

As soon as you quit smoking, your body no longer receives nicotine. Therefore, the first few weeks there can be withdrawal symptoms such as moodiness, restlessness, impatience, headache, insomnia or inability to focus.  You can get cold shivers and tingling in hands and feet. Your appetite could increase and bowl movements could be slow. It is difficult to quit, but certainly not impossible.

We will help you get through this period.
