Expat care

General Practise with three locations for expats in Amsterdam

Huisartsenpraktijk Keizersgracht Amsterdam was started in 2011 by Dany Edmond Jabbour. Ever since, he has been offering the best service and personal attention to his patients. Starting from August 1st 2015, two new brach offices were opened, resulting in a total of three locations for the best personal care.

Excellent Experiences for Expats

When visiting general practioners in the Netherlands, many expats might not get the service and care they are used to. Dutch doctors are very well trained and offer excellent care, yet they are often very cautious with their prescriptions and referrals. Other often heard complaints are the overcrowded practises, busy doctors who do not seem to have enough time and long waiting lists for hospitals and other care facilities.

The team of general practitioners at Huisartsenpraktijk Keizersgracht Amsterdam understands the needs and expectations of expats in the Netherlands. They aim to make the Dutch health system more easily accessible for those who are not familiar with the system while maintaining excellent quality and high service.

Personal attention

When you need medical care, you need a doctor who understands your situation and can find the solution that best suits you. At Huisartsenpraktijk Keizersgracht Amsterdam, we therefore aim to give you the assistance and personal attention you need.

Our team has a good understanding of the challenges expats and their families may face when first coming to the Netherlands. Open communication and personal involvement are therefore a high priority. We aim to make your experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

Quick service and in-house care

The team at Huisartsenpraktijk Keizersgracht Amsterdam wants to ensure that good care is easily accessible. We therefore maintain excellent contacts with many medical specialists in the neighbourhood, and have several in-house specialists as well. This includes a psychologist and a practise nurse for the treatment of for example diabetics and patients with COPD or asthma.

We also have a station for blood sampling, so patients no longer have to visit a laboratory. Additionally, we have evening consultation hours up to 5 days a week, to accommodate the busy schedules of our clients.

Online options

As an additional courtesy to our patients, our practise offers several online services.  New patients can register online and all patients can use our online appointment system to make an appointment. Repeat prescriptions can also be requested on the website. We even offer e-mail consultation, which allows patients to ask any questions by emailing the doctor or assistant.

We currently do not have a waiting list, so we gladly invite you for a personal introduction!
